hi,

My gs1920 is currently not powering up, I’ve checked the fuse and supply. When I switch it on I get no lights coming on the unit. Just wondering if there’s an internal fuse I can check?

The switch has been in storage for three years and only powered up again 2 weeks ago.

Are there repair options?

If not what’s the recommended replacement, I have three wireless access points (2xNWA50BE and 1x1800ax) running on POE. Plan to add a Poe security camera and have 12 wired ports in total in the house coming back to a patch panel, not all in use currently but at some point I was likely to need to add another switch or replace the 1920 for something with more ports.

Thoughts?

Ian

    Hi @IanUk ,

Since you've already checked the external fuse and power supply, we'd suggest trying a different power cable/ adapter first to rule out any cable/connector issue.
If the switch still doesn't power on, please check whether your unit is still within the warranty period, as an RMA may be an option for you. You can fill this link

Regarding a replacement, based on your requirements — 12+ wired ports, 3 PoE APs (2× NWA50AX and 1× NWA1800AX) plus a planned PoE camera — we'd recommend the GS1920-24HPv2. It's a direct upgrade from your current model with 24 ports and a higher PoE budget, giving you plenty of room to connect all your current devices and expand further without needing an additional switch.
