LTE2566-M634 Shut down issue
Freshman Member
I'm experiencing a repeated, reproducible shutdown on my LTE2566-M634 within about 2 minutes of every boot, even when the device is connected to an AC power source. I captured the system log across a full boot-to-shutdown cycle and found the direct cause: the power_battery service repeatedly fails to open the battery health, charge, OTG-charge-status, and charge-temperature sysfs paths (BATT_CHARGE_HEALTH_PATH, BATT_TEMP_PATH, OTG_CHARGE_ST_PATH, CHARGE_TMP — all logged as "No such file or directory," from pm/ww_pm.c). Immediately after all four fail in the same second, battery_control.c(143) logs bc_1 >> unnormal_power_off, reason: 0, and the device powers off. This happens consistently regardless of AC power being connected, suggesting the battery-monitoring code triggers a forced shutdown whenever it can't read any battery status, without checking whether external power is present. Could you confirm whether this is a known firmware issue, what reason: 0 corresponds to, and whether there's a firmware update or hardware fix (e.g., battery replacement) that resolves it? Current firmware version: [insert your version, e.g. V1.00(ABTW.4)C0].
