FWA 70 - Defective at delivery?

Hi all,

I've just bought a FWA 70 5G modem. After inserting the SIM card and booting (green status light flashing) the status light turns red. The unit is unreachable, the router doesn't get any internet connection. I have done hard reset several times with no change in result.

Is my unit defective?

    Please confirm which LED is red — the Signal LED or the Status LED — as they indicate different things. If the Status LED is red, as you mentioned, this indicates the FWA70 is faulty. Please contact your reseller or process an RMA here

    Please refer to the table below for a description of the Signal/Status LED indicators.

    Thanks for your reply, @Zyxel_Judy! Yes it is indeed the Status LED that is giving me a red light. The Signal LED doesn't light up at all.
