[NEBULA] Trouble when adding AP to Nebula
I bought 4 NWA1123-AC Pro to cover my building.
The AP work well when in standalone mode, but as soon as I add them to Nebula by registering the S/N and MAC, they stop working (power green, Nebula connexion orange blinking)... Any Idea?
Thansk in advance!
When you registered the AP to Nebula, the AP will connect to Nebula and transfer mode from standalone to cloud. The LED shows blinking amber when connecting to NCC. Please keep TCP port 6667/4335 and UDP port 123 unblocked by firewall for AP and NCC connection. It takes about 5-10 minutes to transfer the mode and sync configuration on Nebula.

Thanks for your answer @Nebula_Freda .
The firewall administrator is asking me some extra informations to avoid security risks:
- Do the ports need all to be opened in both ways (in and out traffic)?
- What is the IP adress or FQDN of the cloud service contacted by the AP's?
Thanks in advance!0

Check firewall settings
On NCC , in Help> Security policy information , enlists the ports required for nebula devices to be online and work properly.
TCP 6667: Port used for device netconf connection and management to Nebula Control Center.
TCP 443: Port for users to access HTTPS websites in this case Nebula control center webpage, with PCs or laptops.
UDP 123: Port for NTP time sync, Nebula devices requires to synchronize a universal time, the feedback from Nebula devices to the server and also statistical information greatly requires a correct time kept on the devices.
IP address: d.nebula.zyxel.com
I assume only outside flows (as most of network will only have private ip address).
Let us know if you get it.
Enjoy with your new Zyxel devices.3
Besides Alfonso's information, here are two more information for you.
TCP 4335/6667: Both ports used for device netconf connection and management to Nebula Control Center.
s.nebula.zyxel.com - For Nebula Cloud Management
*.pool.ntp.org - Network Time protocol
You can check detail information in HELP> Firewall information.
i am managing hundreds of NWA1123v2. the APs randomly lost connection to nebula, the current workaround is to hard reset the AP and it works for few days and will be disconnected again.
what seems to be the problem?0
