Fiber Internet Connection. Alternative to Zyxel Speedlink 5501 and AVM FritzBoxes

Hi, we need tips which routers from Zyxel are suitable for a fiber optic internet connection. In our place we can get symmetric bandwidths from 100 Mbit/s to 1Gbit/s. The provider is Deutsche Glasfaser.

The router must come to the Internet via Ethernet. There is no dial-in process, so a possibly existing modem should be bypassed. The router gets assigned an IPV6 address and is thus on the Internet. The router is connected to a fiber twist that converts the light signals into electrical signals.

We know that the Zyxel Speedlink 5501 will works fine. Is there any alternatives with similar characteristics to 5501?

Wir können auch gern auf deutsch schreiben, wie es Dir lieber ist :-) Um die Frage ein wenig genauer zu beantworten, würde ich gern wissen, was der Router können soll.  Legst Du wert auf sehr gutes WLAN, soll er eher günstig sein oder welche Eigenschaften sind Dir wichtig? Die Deutsche Glasfaser liefert ja m.W. einen NT bei der Installation, der in der Wohnung verbaut wird. Somit muss der Router nur EthernetWAN  unterstützen, was quasi alle Router von Zyxel tun.
