Why can’t I capture VLAN tagged packets?

Some of the users may find that they cannot capture VLAN tagged packet by the packet capture tools.
It makes them to think if this is an abnormal behavior from the switch.
However, in reality, this is usually caused by the NIC (Network Interface Card) on the computer.
Because some of the NIC does not support the function of recognizing the VLAN tagged packet, if you meet this problem, please check the NIC first and make sure first whether your NIC supports the function of recognizing the VLAN tagged packets.
