VMG1312-B10D Wireless bandwidth

My VMG1312-B10D (supplied by iTalk) has the latest firmware but switching it from 20MHz to 40MHz bandwidth makes no diffrence - it stays in 20MHz mode (confirmed by the wifi analyzer on my phone). Is this a known issue and is there anything which can be done to make it work as expected?

Is your firmware version V5.13(AAXA.7)C0?
May I know if you disconnect the SSID, then reconnect it again. Will the bandwidth be corrected or not? And what's the wireless channel at that time?
