How to add a 3rd PLA5456 to current devices

I recently purchased a new PLA5456 and I want to add it to the two PLA5456 units I have already deployed. When I plug it in and preset the reset/encryption button it ends up as a red light. I think I'm doing something wrong. Can you please post the directions to add a 3rd unit to a pair that are already in service.

Is HomePlug LED shows red light? Does that PLA5456 plug in power extension cord?


When you plug in Ethernet cable between that PLA5456 and LAN device, does it able to access Internet?
