How to steer/encourage the utilization of 5G band?
In Nebula, to utilize clients under your network to use 5Ghz band, there is an option to steer the clients to use 5G band, called "Band select".
When enabling this function, by default it ignores 8 probes and 3 authentication requests sent under 2.4Ghz from a client station.
If the client exceeds the number of probe and authentication requests, the NAP will allow communication afterwards.
To configure band select, go to Configure > Access points >SSID advanced setting and toggle Band select on.
