Express VPN on Home and Life Hub

Hello, I've been trying to get ExpressVPN to work on my Zyxel Home and Life Hub but without success. I even cotacted ExpressVPN support since Zyxel is not one of the routers listed in their page, and they confirmed that Zyxel is not supported by them.
My question is, how do you get VPN services on your routers? It doesn't have to be Express, can be any of them. Or if you do use ExpressVPN how do you go about it?
