NAS542 Time machine backup infinity

Hi all, I've a Zyxel NAS542 with 8TB of disks inside. I've activated the time machine backup in admin folder, go to my macbook, time machine, added the backup repository and started the backup (from my option backup has been automatically excluded box cloud that has a different format, so less than 5GB to remove from by total backup).
Given that I've near 300GB of data to backup, the backup on NAS is going ahead from 2 days, it doesn't finished and in the time machine app there is a message regarding the NAS that told me that my backup is now is at 493GB... but I have only 300GB of data to backup!!!!
Why that?
What happens?
Thanks,
Stefano

So, is the backup process completed now? or you just cut it off?0

Today, the third day, it told me that is going to conclude...
Which is the backup time machine folder in the NAS?0 -
The backup speed depends on your MAC performance and network speed (physical link is more recommended) , NAS is just a storage space in this case.
The folder should be assigned in Backup Planner.
