Hi Sidney, sorry to bother you after 1 year almost, but I'm not quite sure how you did solve the issue.

I have the same router and I'm struggling to share even small files because USB drive speed drops to 300KB/s.

I didn't understand exactly what the WPS button have to do with the USB drive speed and how this can solve the issue (it didn't in my case).

Same problem here, no solution yet, WPS button doesn't seem to do anything. A solution would be most welcome.

I'm curious as well. I've just found this 'discovery' as I've been unable to improve my VMG8825-T50 above 300kb/s. It's often lower and frequently zero. From the experiences above it seems that there is a common fault. How does pressing the WPS button improve the data rate to the USB drive? 8MB/s would be fantastic.

Sadly, I've gone back to an older model VMG3925-B10B which is achieving around 4MB/s.
