I am following the instructions in pdf user manual. I am trying set up a wedsite sever on my raspberry pi4 using godaddy domain. But I cannot access the router from outside the wireless network. Highly frustrated. Has anyone else out there got solid tips to get this working. Port forwarding on Zyxel routers seems to be very complex compared to other router manufacturers. I have not choose this router it's been supplier by my ISP.

Many thanks in advance

If you read Chapter 11.3.1 in the release note, you should know how to set it up.

For me, it looks simple and easy to create a port forwarding rule. This is a very basic function and I don't think it doesn't work at all.
Maybe you can share how you create your rule and how you run your test to verify it so that we could know if anything is wrong.
Besides the setting one the router, you also need to make sure the firewall on your LAN side PC allows the packets from outside. You also need to make sure the domain you try to access from outside really connects correctly to the WAN IP address of your AMG1302-T11C.

So as you can see I have followed the instructions of router manual to the t. Here are the following images to see if anyone can point out my error. You might think the instructions are easy and so did I but forwarding still wind work. I'm not even worried about godaddy pointing to pi web server at the moment. I would just like to be able to check port forwarding is working whick it isn't. Please see images below.

As you can see I have followed the forwarding instructions perfectly. I can access the apache Web server on pi via lan but I cannot see it using my up amd port number. I have used port forwarding Web page to see if I can confirm the port is forwarding and its not.

Any help would be great thank you

In your screenshots, I can see that you create a rule to forward the packets to 192.168.1.4 on port 81. Is 192.168.1.4 the IP address of your apache Web server on piand is port 81 used for the service?
Have you tried to enable DMZ with 192.168.1.4 to see if it works?
