Any known issues with the ZyXEL P-660R modem?

Hello! I'm currently subscribed to TekSavvy's 10Mbps 400Gb DSL plan and every time I launch a heavy download, I'd say roughly 2Gb or more, my internet goes down after a few minutes.
Only way I've found to make it work again is to unplug the modem, leave it unplugged for a minute or two then plug it back in and let it reboot.
When I have to reset the modem, I notice it's burning hot most of the time.
So my question is: Does this modem overheat? Is there any known issue with it? Could this be the source of my problem?
