Recycle Bin does not work when deleting from Windows File Explorer on Zyxel NAS542

I've enabled the recycle bin. Deleting files in the Zyxel file explorer moves the files to the recycle folder, but deleting files inside the network share in Windows 10 seems to delete the files permanently. Is it supposed to be this way?

Can´t confirm that. The recycle bin will created and show up as shared folder even in a mapped NAS after you have deleted a file, as I did within Total Commander, and you can recover it from there as well as you can do within the file browser in the NAS.0
