    It's the only reason I could think of why chown -R on a healthy disk and filesystem could take an hour.

    Is this a known (mis-)behavior?
    I don't know. I never heard of it, but I'm not very Plex. I only wrote the installer script, on instructions of someone else. Never used it, except for testing if the installation succeeded.
    Maybe you could ask in a Plex forum.

    Did you manage to resolve the case? I'm dealing with the same issue, NAS326 and Plex » 35-45 minute waiting from turning on to the "beep".

    If you can find the leaked files, you can add a remove to the start script. It can't be hard to recognize them, as they must have an auto-generated filename.
