nsg200 cut power by night

hello there, I got an NSG200 to work from home. I have to put it in my bedroom since that's where I have my workstation aswell. I realized the NSG 200 has the light on all the time but more importantly has a permanent fan noise even if the PC connected to it is turned off. Now I wanted to know if it's a problem if I pull the power plug every night so that the noise stops or if pulling the power every night can damage the NSG200.

It should not have the problem and we didn't receive any cases that device broken because pulling the power off.
