Hello I configured snmp service in XGS2210-24 switches so traps are sent to a snmp monitor. I have a question about this traps

zyHwMonitorFanSpeedOutOfR ange

zyHwMonitorTemperatureOut OfRange

zyHwMonitorPowerSupplyVolt ageOutOfRange

What is the threshold of that alarms that indicate that exist a problem in switch.?

I saw this image

I guess if mac temperature goes above 85, will switch send a trap?

I guess if fan1 speed goes below 500, will switch send a trap?

In voltaje section what mean of +-%6??

Thanks in advance

    Hi @VictorZX

Kindly see my reply in bold.

I guess if mac temperature goes above 85, will switch send a trap? Correct.

I guess if fan1 speed goes below 500, will switch send a trap? Correct.

In voltaje section what mean of +-%6??

It means +-6% of the rated voltage.

For example of rated 5V, 6% threshold of 5V equals 0.3V.

In case the rated 5V is detected lower than 4.7V or higher than 5.3V, the switch will send a trap.

The zyHwMonitorPowerSupplyVoltageOutOfRange monitors rated voltages in the HW monitor table.

By the way, remember to check the trap options in Management -> Access Control -> SNMP -> Trap Group in case you need to monitor them via SNMP trap.
