Future requirement for Multy X - I'd like to see the ability to enable band steering.

Just seen in the FAQs that this does already exist. I'm quite surprised as my mobile is always being pushed to 2.4GHZ which is currently giving me 20mb on a 135mb connection, whereas 5GHZ givesme 100mb+. If I toggle off wifi and back on it will go back to 5GHZ.0

Can you share the model name of your mobile phone?
As far as I know, band steering feature of Multy X requires the client device itself to support 802.11kv as well. Multy X uses band steering to select the best WiFi band for client device to connect to, but steering or not, it is depend on client device decision/design.

Honor 9 running Android 8.0. Multy is quick enough to move me from 5ghz to 2.4 when going out of range which I'd expect but very rarely puts me back on to 5ghz when I'm back in range.0

Do you try to use another mobile phone to test? Is it the same result?
My Samsung Galaxy S8+ works properly.0 -
Seems to be the same with my wife's Sony XZ0
