Is there any useful Application for NAS540 or am I stuck with the saddest list ever?

I, unfortunately, bought that "crappie, terrible, useless, slow thing" to be polite, to use as a Media Server to free my Mac Pro but found out too late that I can't install Plex or anything else for that matter besides the unbelievable joke they call App Center that offers nothing at all... Does anyone know better? So far, this is THE worst product with THE very worst app center on the planet.

    Using MetaRepository you can install 3th party packages, among which a Plex installer.

    Excellent news, thanks to you Ô wise and advanced warrior but what is MetaRepovisoly? Is it macOS compatible? It seems like I have to be a rocket engineer to be able to use it? I unfortunately am not a wise and advanced warrior like you, I am just a very low level junior member
