Multy X Installation - plug into Modem or existing Router?

During the installation the Multy application states to install the Multy X by plugging it into the modem. I have read that on some Amazon questions that it actually needs to be plugged into your existing router and not your modem, is this true?

It is depend on your usage. Below are two topology for your reference.
.Internet---Modem<LAN>---<WAN>1st Multy X node
.Internet---Modem<LAN>---<WAN>Router<LAN>---<WAN>1st Multy X node
Multy X is supported two Network Mode:
- NAT (Standard) Mode, this is the default setting as Router Mode.
- Bridge Mode.0
