Hello. I've been very happy so far with the performance of the PLA5456 (Kit), but the issue I have now is that I need a 3rd connection to another room. Unfortunately, the PLA5456 only seems to be sold as a kit of 2, and not sold separately. The least expensive kit I've found is $80 (Amazon), but only one single can only be found on eBay, priced for $70, which is just too much. Not knowing the protocols of powerline adapters, can the PLA5456 work alongside other brands TP-Link or Netgear? I'd much prefer to use another PLA5456, but I can't see spending another $80 for two, when only one is needed. Thanks.

$70 for US dollar? I see it is $47 as https://www.ebay.com/itm/1x-ZyXEL-PLA5456-HomePlug-AV2000-Powerline-Ethernet-Adapter/132954978048?hash=item1ef4bbf700:g:pLAAAOSwHJFcZ5I9
PLA5456 is Broadcom chip, so you can try to search other Broadcom chip PLA with different brand, they would be workable.0
