iOS configuration software for powerline adapters

Looking for some advice. I have a number of older 4 port 500mb Zyxel powerline adapters and wanted to add two new adapters so picked up a pair of PLA5256 two port adapters.
Got them all on a powerstrip and sync'd up, but no software seems to exist for iOS to configure the old or newer versions.....any ideas?
Secondly, the older 500mb 4 port adapters seemed to act like a switch, great for having a computer and NAS connected to the same plug. The newer adapters seem to always go back to the router as the hub, thus having them on the same adapters is pretty useless? Any ideas on this?

there is not the iOS app, you need press encrypt button to sync and unsynchronized or you can use utility to manage them.
