Check NAS Disks for bad sectors etc..

hi everybody,

i just installed a new hdd on my nas326.

i'm experiencing some strange facts and wonder if there is something wrong with the hdd.

how can i check it for errors, bad sectors etc...??

    Can you explain what kind of some strange facts?
    I think you can go to Storage Manager > Hard Disk > S.M.A.R.T to check HDDs or use command badblocks (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Badblocks) via SSH/Telnet.

    i will scan the hdd for bad blocks.

    i was saving files from an image manipulation program, but when i tried to load them again it was failing. One file was reported as corrupted too.
