NAS542-4 - In Raid 1, use diffrent disk brand

Hi.
In NAS 542-4

Can i mount 2 different disk brand(same spec) in raid 1
Both in are on the compability list.

WD Internal drive Red 


Model: WD40EFRX
Capacity: 4TB

Seagate Ironwolf

Model: ST4000VN008
Capacity: 4TB

    The brand doesn't matter, however these two disks has different rpm, it may cause performance reduction. Mixing 5400 rpm and 5900 rpm works, but it's not optimal for obvious reasons.

    @Wiasouda: Do you have proof for that? It made me think, at first sight it seems obvious, but AFAIK the disks are not synchronized. So when a sector has to be accessed on both disks, they won't arrive at the same time anyway, as the disks don't have the same rotational angle. So does the difference in rpm really matter?
