How to manually turn NAS326 on after a scheduled shutdown?

I have scheduled power on and off events on my NAS326 and it works flawlessly. I only recently came across this problem of not being able to manually turn the NAS on after the scheduled power off. I want to be able to power it on manually but it keeps turning off as soon as the system boots up. This doesn't even give me enough time to turn off the power schedule which I assume would fix this problem. I'm looking for a solution to this problem, any help is appreciated!

A factory reset can help, if you have the time to perform that. A factory reset can only be applied when the OS is running.
