Is there a Solution for Multy Pro App on Android Going Into Endless Loop?

I recently purchased a vmg8825-b50b and wap6804 to enable multy pro for my wifi at home. I installed the Multy Pro app on my Huawei P30.
The app detects the vmg, I log in. A mostly white screen appears searching for devices and then promptly asks me to log in again... and again... and again...
Is there a solution?

Come to think of it... Why is this not built into the device in the first place???
