HELP! . I'm locked out of my NSA310 HDD

Hello,
my son set this up for me long time ago and it has been running great until now. I tried to access a programme from there and it asked me for login details/permission and I couldn't remember so my question is..... how do I get in now as I have forgotten my log in details?
everything is stored on it so I am now in a real pickle.
my son cannot remember the details after all this time so cannot help me with this.
really appreciate any help

To reset the password, you can press the reset button until you hear one beep after two seconds.
This can reset the password and do not affect the volume.0
