[VMG & WAP] Firmware Updates for Residential Equipment

Does Zyxel provide firmware updates for it's residential gateways and mesh points? I have a VMG 4825-B10a as well as a WAP6906 and i have never seen any firmware updates for either of these devices.

i would suggest to check with ISP as each ISP has its own specification on fw.

I work for the ISP and we do not have any proprietary software.

There is a Zyxel article at https://mysupport.zyxel.com/hc/en-us/articles/360005504820--CPE-How-can-the-firmware-be-upgraded-updated-on-the-VMG-series about how to get firmware for VMG series including the VMG4825-B10A. It points towards the ftp.zyxel.com server but I cannot find any firmware for that router there.

For WAP6096, there is an area at ftp://ftp.zyxel.com/WAP6906/ but it does not contain any firmware.

It might be worth you phoning Zyxel in your region.
