Moving AP to NEW ORGANIZATION

When I try to ADD DEVICE under the new organization I continually get this error:
Device is already registered by another user. Add the device by scanning its QR code using the Nebula Mobile APP.
The AD does not have a QR Code sticker on it to use the Nebula Mobile APP.
Please help.

The box. QRcode is on the box.

Hi @ivessm ,
Please go to Organization-wide>Configure>License& inventory
Choose the device and there is a green button of Actions,
Choose the device you want and Check the actions and “Change organization”.

I did those actions you specified last Friday. The device is no longer listed under my Organization.
I still CANNOT add the device to the new Organization. I just tried this moment and get the same error as I have received in the last 3 days:
"Device is already registered by another user. Add the device by scanning its QR code using the Nebula Mobile APP."
The errors reference to the QR code is meaningless. There is no QR code on the bottom of the unit and the box for the unit was discarded a year or so ago.
I am hoping that someone @ ZyXEL can RELEASE this device from the previous Org so I can assign it to the new Org.

In your instructions you specified selecting: Change Organization
As I was moving this to a completely NEW organization under a NEW Nebula login name which had not been established yet I selected: Remove from Organization
My thinking was that with Remove from Organization that would make this AP assignable to any organization owned by any Nebula login. So far it has not been released for such assignment.
When trying to assign to a new Nebula login and Organization it keeps coming up with the error:"Device is already registered by another user. Add the device by scanning its QR code using the Nebula Mobile APP."

All, This issue is resolved.
I had to call TS and get them to free up the registration of this device. It was done and I was able to immediately register it.

Hi @ivessm,
I’m glad to hear that your problem is resolved.
We normally will consider your situation is moving from one organization to another organization and both organizations are under same account.
If you need to move single AP to another organization in different account next time,here is a method:
step1: reset your AP to default without connect to the internet.
Step2: open browser and enter IP:192.168.1.2
Step3: choose standalone mode and the default password is: admin / 1234
Step4: after login, you may find the QR code.
If you find the below information:
Nebula control center activation status: This access point has been registered to the Nebula.
You have to reset again, then you can get the QR code.
If you have a large number of APs need to move, please contact Zyxel supports.
