FTP problems on NAS542

Options
Trying to let my Reolink cameras store videos on NAS542.
Set up accounts and FTP server.
The cameras cannot copy to NAS, but their logging is poor to say the least.
I tried to FTP from my Windows client using the same accounts as the cameras and got message "425 Could not open data connection to port 53810: Connection timed out" when I try to put a file in the same folder the cameras are supposed to use.
That should be the reason for the problem I suppose, but what can be done about it?
I can copy files there in windows explorer, but not in FTP.
Access log i NAS says successful connection every time.

Please advise!

One piece of additional info . When I set up the first camera indoors last week this worked fine.
Changing into intermittent success in the week end and now not working at all.

Looks like your firewall block the ftp.
you can disable firewall on windows and check if it is caused by the firewall rule block it.

That would explain why the FTP transfer from Windows fails, but not why the cameras fail.
I will try to disable the firewall on the PC however.
