recently purched wifi router

I recently bought a zyxel nbg4615 v2 model number router off of newegg. it got deliverd today (7/11/2022) went to go set it up and i can't seem to connect to the router to set it up. the power light flashes for a few seconds becomes solid then after another few seconds turns off. If i have a device plugged in the port shows as active. when i serch for this model number on zyxel's site it comes up with nothing for it. can anyone help me?

The router has been EOL for a long time, you can check the EOL product here

then that raises questions of 1 why is it still being sold? and then 2 that still dose not excuse a DOA unit0

I think that you will need to ask NewEgg why it is still being sold.
Zyxel declared it end of life in 2014, see http://static.us.zyxel.com/pdf/2021/EOL-and-Warranty_Jan21_2021.pdf
