VMG3625-T50B won't connect to internet

I am trying to configure my VMG3625. I connect the power and the DSL cable, all the lights eventually light up but the internet global symbol is red. Is this a problem with the Zyxel or my internet provider?
Also I cannot connect the router directly to my laptop (MacBook Air) but I think I can configure wireless?

Hi sir
You should able to login the router followed the info on the back label, normally the router's LAN IP is 192.168.1.1, then you can configure it after login.
For the internet connection, it would be better to check your ISP for the Internet connection setting.
Different ISP would have different Internet connection setting.
