LTE2566-M634: Sim card is not detected

The sim card is not recognized on my new mobile WLAN hotspot LTE2566-M634. I have tested several sim cards that work in other devices. Do I have to unlock the card somewhere in the interface?

    This problem was solved by waiting for hours! Having had no success I just left the router and when I came back the sim had been found and the provider name was on the display, but with a very, very low download and upload rate.

    A nano SIM in a micro adapter needs a backing tape, because the nano SIM is thinner than a micro.

    The push-in SIM slot is not making a good contact, if the nano moves inside the micro adapter.
