Compatible extender for Zyxel C4000bz?
My wifey's MacBook Pro keeps dropping its wireless connecton where she sits 90% of the time she surfs. We noticed the Mac reconnects when she goes to another room. Our modem is in a wiring closet behind our 82" Samsung flat which I believe attenuates the modem signal in the direction she sits.
Ask: Can someone recommend a compatible extender?

Perhaps I can simply add an access point?

I don't know if you can simply add an access point to CZ4000bz or not.
You might be able to use a Wireless Extender.
Zyxel has some, see https://www.zyxel.com/global/en/products/wifi-extender .
I have been personally using a TP-Link RE300 with my Zyxel device at home, and that might work for you, see https://www.tp-link.com/uk/home-networking/range-extender/re300/

Thanks. I read on another forum the CZ4000BZ needs periodic rebooting which apparently resolved the dropped connection issue.
