Hi,
I have problem with login tried login webui throught lan and when i entered my credentials it says i need change password
But i can't change it says invalid username/password i think there is problem with format of old password
loginname is xxx@xxx.com and old password contains special chars like $&
change password dialog turns loginname xxx%40xxx.com ← can this be problem or is it password
Do i have right theory or is that something else?

Hello @Jape
How about using a serial connection to connect to the firewall?
You can follow the procedure below to bring the username/password back.
- Connect to the firewall via Console port
- Reboot the device
- Notice when "Press any key to enter debug mode within 3 seconds" appears, and enter in the debug mode
- type "atkz -b"
- type "atgo" to booting device again.
- Now the device will reset to system-default configuration and backup the old startup-config.conf to startup-config-back.conf
- Login to the device after boot up, and download startup-config-back.conf
- Open startup-config-back.conf and find the below content: username admin encrypted-password $4$encryptedpasswordencryptedpassword$ user-type admin
In your case, the username could be "xxx%40xxx.com"9. - Change it to username admin password yournewpassword user-type admin and save it
- Upgrade the firmware to 4.73P2 or 536P2
- Apply startup-config-back.conf to your device after upgrading

May I know the current firmware version running on your firewall? If you're experiencing issues, it might be worth trying the latest firmware version to see if it resolves your problem.
