NAS326 - Why Do I have to Stop then Restart the Twonky Server Every Day?

Hello

Since updating to V5.21(AAZF.13) I have to log into the NAS as admin and stop and restart the Media Server before any device can look and stream from the NAS, the NAS is connected direct into the router and worked fine before the update

Best regards

Paul

Which firmware do you upgraded from? Is it V5.21(AAZF.12)?
Which client, or device do you use to sync with Twonky Server?

Yes it was an incremental upgrade to 13

I use Goodsync to transfer files from my PC onto the video/music folders on the NAS, the clients (TV , tablets etc) then connect to the NAS and Twonky delevers the goods ( when I have stopped and restarted it to wake it up)

My TV connects to Twonky Server using DLNA if that is what you were asking

When the issue appear, is the IP address correct when you playing the video.

The IP address should be the IP on your NAS.

When this was happening, the NAS would appear in the available list of network connections such as on my PC or inputs to my smart TV, for that to happen it must have had the correct IP Address, but I could only view the top-level folders of the shared folders (Music, video etc) but not what was inside of them, until I had restarted the Twonky Server.

however, it has unexplainedly started working on its own again.
