I want mesh, but do not wish to pay…

Hi there. I have three NWA50AX access points to cover my home, as I am partly below ground in an old property, wireless is poor. The trial of the Nebula is about to expire and I can not find anything about just operating a mesh. Do I have to use Nebula (which has proven to be a good system), and is there a free solution, given I am unlikely to use all of the benefits - all I want is a mesh.

The Smart Mesh function is indeed supported by the Nebula Base Pack, which is a free version offering basic features.
