XS1930-10 Access Problem
Good morning,
I have a Switch XS1930-10. My PC is connected directly to it (Port 1).
It works very well except for access:
- The switch does not respond to PING.
- I do not have access to the graphical interface.
- And the ZON tool can't find it.
On the other hand, if I do a reset via the button (or ON/OFF), everything works for a while then nothing again.
Do you have an idea to resolve the problem?
Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi @akeix,
if I do a reset via the button (or ON/OFF), everything works for a while then nothing again.
Does this mean you can do the tests below after rebooting the switch?
- Ping to the switch.
- Access the local GUI
- Find the switch on ZON tool.
In addition, please check the network adapter is correct if you cannot find the switch via ZON tool.

Hi @akeix,
Could you also share what IP address (the IP address of your switch) did you ping to?

Good morning,
I'm responding a little late because I was on vacation.
I just reset the switch.
The switch responds to the ping.
The WEB interface is accessible.
And the ZON tool finds the switch.

Good morning,
This morning, I no longer had access to the switch via the WEB interface.
And the ZON tool didn't find it.
I had to reset the switch to access it.
Please find attached the requested file.
For information, I changed the switch password before making the file.
Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi @akeix,
Thanks for the tech support. I would like to confirm some details with you:
1. Could you share yhe full network topology (The gateway, switch, ap, etc…)? Since this issue looks like a switch hang, the full network topology can help us investigate this issue.
2. I notice your network has some IPv6 clients. Since we have a similar case that related to IPv6, could you help to disable IPv6 on VLAN 1 and monitor for about one week?
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
I disabled IPv6 on VLAN 1.
I just have to watch for a week.
Thank you for your help.

Hi @akeix,
May I know if the switch cannot be accessed again after disabling IPv6 for one week?

Good morning,
Since I have deactivated the IPv6 option on VLAN 1, I have no more problem.
My switch is accessible each time. I checked every day with the "ZON" tool. I also tried access via the Gui interface and it also works. Thanks for your help.
