I can't restore factory default settings GS1920-48HP v1
I can't reset the switch to factory settings to manage it. I have tried pressing the button for 5 seconds, then for 7 seconds, and I also tried for 10 seconds, but I can't reset it. With the Zyxel One Network Utility tool, I can find it, but it has a different IP address than the default, it has 192.168.21.92. Furthermore, it won't let me log in with the admin user and the password 1234. The button does not reset to factory settings as stated in the forum and the manual. What other ways do I have to reset the switch? This device is not registered in Nebula, as it is not compatible.

Hi @aecanet,
Since I tried two GS1920-48HPv1 and both switches are able to reset factory default by pressing the reset button, at the side panels, for 10 seconds, I would like to clarify:
- Did the switch reboot after you press the reset button for 10 seconds?

If the switch reboots after releasing the reset button but does not return to factory settings, I have tried 8 seconds, 10 seconds, 15 seconds, 30 seconds, and 1 minute, and it does the same thing—reboots but does not return to factory settings. Any other options?

Hi @aecanet,
Thanks for your feedback and I apologize for the malfunction of the reset button.
Here are two options for you:
- You may open the top switch metal cover and connect a console cable (10-pin) to access the switch to reload the firmware and ROM file to factory default your switch. I will DM the console port position and the type of console cable to you. In addition, opening the top switch metal cover may cause the loss of the warranty.
- Since GS1920-48HPv1 has been end-of-life for a long time, it is recommended to upgrade your switch to GS1920-48HPv2. This model has newer firmware and you can manage it via Nebula Control Center.

Thank you very much Melen. In downloadable .zip file, there is only the .bin I need the .rom file. Would you be so kind as to share it with me or tell me where I can get it?
