Speed issues
Hi.
I have a Zyxel mobile router 5101 with a 5 G card which is connected to a mesh network based on three nwa130 BE
When measuring download speed I get good figures from the router. The root ap are located just besides the router.
When sitting only a few meters from both I get very different downspeed between the router and the root ap. See measured figures.
My account is tomas.salzmann@telia.com
Organisation Blåsbogatan
Why do I have such different speed between the router and the ap.
Can I adjust my mesh network to get the same speed out of my ap as from the router.

Hi @saltet
There are several factors that can affect your speed test results, such as signal interference, bandwidth distribution, the connected radio band, and differences in radio configuration. To accurately compare the speed between your mobile router and access point, the best approach is to test in a controlled environment with only one client connected to the network.
To optimize your AP performance, you might find the following guides helpful:
Additionally, here are a few tips that could improve your setup:
- Check AP Configuration: Ensure your AP is using the optimal channels and bandwidth settings.
- AP Positioning: Consider the placement of your AP and minimize potential sources of interference.
