NWA510 & NWA710

Is there a recommended Nebula configuration when using a NWA510 with a NWA710 on the LAN2/WAN Port?

When we have a project with a poor network signal we are planning to install a NWA710 externally and then connect it to the WAN port of the NWA510.

e.g. Can the NWA510 be demoted to a security gateway?

    Hi @john32,

    Do you mean FWA510 & FWA710? It is rare to see a place that has outdoor and indoor mobile routers. Normally, FWA710 will connect to a firewall's wan port, like the USG FLEX H series/USG FLEX series/ATP series. Although FWA510 provides simple firewall service, if you need more security services, like content filter or application patrol, you still need a real firewall for these functions. Could you share the reason you want to use two mobile routers in this project? Is there any possible to have a physical ISP link?

    Thanks for getting back to me.

    We will look at sourcing an alternative firewall/AP.

    Currently we setup sites with a FWA510 and try to resolve mobile network coverage/performance with placement and alternative networks, At the point we cannot achieve acceptable performance we would look to move the mobile device externally hence adding a FWA710.

    We do not have the option of fixed line communication in this environment due to the short nature of our contract/works.
