my synology nas drive is not accessible when I connect it to my new Zyxel EX3301-T0 router. The nas drive is accessible when plugged into my old router.

  I think you have login to Zyxel EX3301-T0 router and modify the settings of port forwarding.

  When you say that your Synology NAS is not accessible, is this from another computer on your LAN?

  Or from WiFi LAN?

  Or from the Internet?
