Hello,

On my site, I have a NWA50AX PRO as a root AP and a WAX620D-6E that I want to use as a repeater and a wireless bridge, linkedto an ethernet switch that accesses to a common printer.

WAX620D-6E works as a repeater, but the LAN port does not seems activated (no LED light from the LAN port nor from que switch port when I plug the RJ45 cable. If I use the Uplink port the LED lights up on both the AP and the switch, but I can't access the printer.

On Nebula the Wireless Bridge is notes as "enabled".

What have I missed ?
Thanks in advance for your suggestions !

    Hi @gacquier ,

Please note that wireless bridging requires two compatible access points to function. The NWA50AX PRO does not have wireless bridge capability in its feature set.

This means you'll need to consider alternative hardware options if wireless bridging is required for your setup. Please refer to Nebula Device function table to know the compatible AP

    Did you check

    Site-wide > Configure > Access points > AP & port settings

Under Port settings LAN1 has to be enabled too.

    Thanks Xydoxq !

Lan1 is enabled indeed, as well as lan2 and lan3. For each of them, PVID = 1 and Allowed VLANs = 1…

    Should I disable Lan 2 and 3 ?

I managed to use an old (non zyxel) bridge for now while I try to get this WAX620D working…

    Thanks for your help :)

ok, I 'm afraid I found the problem. It seems that you need 2 hardware supporting wireless bridge, and in this case my configuration with NWA50AX PRO as root and WAX620D-6E as bridge will never work… Can you confirm ?

    hi @gacquier

    according to this

both AP's have to support wireless bridge. I only have NWA130BE's installed.
