I have the following scenario:
I need a SSID to be available during daytime on weekdays, but on weekends I want it to be available until 2AM in the morning and then again from 7AM and the rest of the day.
How can I achieve this when each day can only provide one continuous opening schedule.

    Hi Jonas,
    Welcome to Nebula Forum! :+1:
You can go to AP > configure > SSID scheduling to set SSID schedule. According to your need, I provide the screenshot for you as below. You can use the Availability button to switch on/off. When you switch "ON," it colors the SSID to be available as green, and when you switch "OFF," it colors the SSID to be available as yellow. The gray part means SSID is unavailable. You can set one available\unavailable time range in a day. If I missunderstand your need, please let me know.

BTW, after setting, don't forget to apply it to SSID through AP > configure > Authentication page. :sunglasses:

    Hi Irene
This is very good info, but...
I need the SSID to be available according to this schedule:
    Sunday -> Thursdag: 6.30 -> 23.00
Friday and Saturday: 6.30 -> 2.00 in the morning.
Problem occurs when I have an opening schedule that go past midnight.
So, Sunday I need it available until 2.00, then unavailable until 6.30 and available again until 23.00

    Hi Jonas,

We can set one continued available\unavailable time range in a day at this moment… :confounded:
I would suggest you can extend one more hour to 24:00 on Sunday as screenshot below now, and the good news for you is we will enhance this feature in the future, then you can separate two time range in one day.

Do you have any estimate when the "two time range in one day" feature will be available?

    Hi @MarkT
The current schedule of this enhancement is at the end of this year, 2018.

    Hi @Nebula_Dean

Thank you very much for the update.
  • Hi!

Does the SSID hiding feature disable the radio as well?

I need to turn off the WiFi access during some specific range of time. Hiding the SSID is not enough for me since the users know the SSID by heart. I wish to prevent them any access to the network and to the Internet during the specified schedule.

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hello @nicomac,

Hidden SSID will not disable the radio. However, if you want the SSID can't be connected for the specified time, you can use schedule SSID and the SSID will be disabled as your setting.

    Thanks.

If the radio is disabled, all the SSIDs on that radio will also be disabled. If that's what you want, I would rather say to use PoE schedule to completely turn off the AP device.
