Change WiFi Password Automatically

Hi @tzztz ,
Could you clarify what "set password to change automatically" means specifically:
- Is it one shared password for all wireless clients that changes at set intervals?
- Are there unique passwords for each wireless client?
- Or do you have other requirements in mind?

Hi @Zyxel_Judy ,
Thank you for your answer, it is one shared password for all clients that changes at set intervals.
I tried with DPPSK but the password doesn't change automatically it just expires and we have to change it manually.

Hi @tzztz ,
Currently, there's no feature to automatically change passwords after time intervals, either for shared passwords or DPPSK.
Could you tell us more about your use case and why you need the passwords to change automatically after time intervals? In our view, getting new passwords would be inconvenient for both network administrators and users, and all wireless clients will disconnect when the password changes.0 -
Hi @Zyxel_Judy ,
Thank you for your awnser.
It is for a specific use, we have a Zyxel NWA55AXE that manages the WIFI for a party room. The problem is that if we leave a static password or DPPSK, any client could connect to the network if the password is shared. Can we use captive portal ? What restrictions can we setup on a captive portal ?
