    Hi @Andrew_em ,

If you want to add a managed switch with DHCP server functionality between your Virgin router and your access points, you may need to choose a Layer-3 switch which is a higher end device. Of course, a higher end device has higher price.

Therefore, to balance the functionality and budget in your scenario, we still recommend the USG Lite 60AX as the more suitable option. Even though the USG Lite 60AX only supports 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, its 2.5Gbps WAN port, DHCP server function and smart mesh capability make it perfectly suited for your requirements and doesn't affect to your client's bandwidth.

I had to restart my APs again, and again I cannot get the wireless node to connect.

This is crazy. They are less than 8 meters apart and there is open air between them in line of sight.

Are we sure that one of them is not faulty?

Ok I have sorted it finally. I have bought a super long ethernet cable that I can use if the wireless node needs reconnecting. Seems unnecessary but I am going to see how it goes between now and the end of my return period for the units.
