Update files (Switch) ?

Hello,

On my GS1900-8, there are three "files" in the latest version:

  • runtime-GS1900-8v2-V2.90(AAHH.1).bix → which I used for the update from http
  • rom-GS1900-8v2-V2.90(AAHH.1).bix
  • loader-GS1900-8v2-V2.90(AAHH.1).bin

What is the difference/use of runtime, rom, and loader?

    Hi @Bibi49,

    The runtime file is the firmware file for the GS1900 series, the rest of the files are for internal usage. Thanks for pointing out. We will correct the download file.

    Update: the firmware was corrected on 3/25/2025.
