Mesh connection dropping
Hi.
suddenly the mesh network start to behave strange.
it has been working fine the last weeks but now it disconnects random connected devices.
The ap goes from green to blue blinking and back to green.
even the root ap drops in connection.
The root is connected to the 5101 router and have not earlier gone blue and now also indicates red in Nebula. I have not at any time seen this before. se below
Also sending you the eventlog
My account is <hide personal info>
Nebula used and you have access
All ap are NWA 130 at site Blåsbo
Can you help me can I do anything ? To get it stable again

Hi @saltet,
The mesh disconnect issue is because the signal strength is lower than the smart steering threshold.
To solve this issue, we recommend:
- Change the threshold dBm.
- For better performance, please ensure each AP can reach the root AP in one hop.
Since your APs currently still can't find a good AP as an uplink AP, please place your APs closer to the root AP. Then disable the smart steering feature before placing them back. After the APs are stable, check the "Uplink signal" on the AP list table to configure the smart steering threshold.
Hope it helps.

Hi.
Thanks for the recommendations.
Our house is 6mx26m. It is mainly build by concrete.
The ap which is the longest distance from the root is Eva arbetsrum. It must at least be one hop.
It is now connected to the kök but the neighbour ap is vardagsrummet.
Why do the neighbour ap not become the uplink ap.I have increased disassociation nearly up to 90.
Now the network is working again but specially to slow on som of the ap.
See below list. Can I do something more to increase speed.

Hi @saltet,
Please allow me to correct my previous comment. Smart steering will not affect smart mesh. However, the mesh disconnect is related to the uplink signal strength.
From your screenshot, we can find that some of the repeater APs' uplink signal strength is not good. To have a good link rate, please reference this FAQ's note:
[Nebula] How to extend wireless coverage by configure smart mesh? — Zyxel Community
The uplink link rate(Tx/Rx rate) is related to the wireless hops and the uplink signal strength.
