When new Firmware is released and it goes into the "Latest" category, what is the rough timeframe whereby it then goes into "Stable" category?

Does this vary between device types?

I'd assume the turnaround is something like 14 days, as thats the recommend timeframe in which to patch applications or Operating Systems for vulnvulnerabilites etc.

    Hi @George_Ward ,

Before answering your question, we would like to share the definitions of "Latest" and "Stable" firmware types:

Latest: The most recent firmware release with the latest features, improvements, and bug fixes.

Stable: Firmware that may not have the latest features but has passed both Zyxel internal and external testing for reliability.

Generally, we conduct an annual review to determine whether a new "Stable" firmware version is needed for our products in the Nebula environment. For some series, the Latest firmware becomes Stable when a new version is released.

However, if there is a critical firmware update, we may promote the latest firmware version to stable status within a short timeframe.
